O balanço mais recente indica 110 mortos, 238 desaparecidos e 394 identificados. Dos mortos, 71 foram identificados por exames realizados pela Polícia Civil. Também há 108 desabrigados e seis pessoas hospitalizadas.

A Vale informou, há três dias, que a empresa vai acabar com dez barragens, como a que se rompeu em Brumadinho. As barragens serão descomissionadas. Todas localizadas em Minas Gerais. Segundo a empresa, descomissionar significa preparar a barragem para integrá-la à natureza.

Bloqueios A Justiça do Trabalho autorizou um novo bloqueio de R$ 800 milhões da mineradora Vale, responsável pela barragem que se rompeu em Brumadinho.

Na última segunda-feira (28), já haviam sido bloqueados R$ 800 milhões, valor correspondente a 50% do total pedido pelo Ministério Público do Trabalho em Minas Gerais (MPT-MG).

A Vale também teve bloqueados, em outras ações, R$ 11 bilhões.

Medidas Desde o desastre no último dia 25, a empresa anuncia medidas e faz reuniões com autoridades públicas federais e estaduais. Em encontro com procuradores em Brasília, o presidente da empresa, Fabio Schvartsman, disse que vai acelerar os acordos extrajudiciais.

As buscas por vítimas completam hoje oito dias. Um grupo de 136 militares de Israel desembarcou na região de Brumadinho para ajudar nas operações de resgate. De acordo com informações oficiais, a tropa israelense contribuiu na localização de 35 corpos.

Trabalham no local militares do Corpo de Bombeiros, inclusive de outros estados, das Forças Armadas, Defesa Civil, Polícia Civil e Política Militar.

A delegacia de Brumadinho funciona 24h para atender familiares e receber ocorrências. Também está sendo providenciada uma equipe para atuar na expedição das identidades de parentes de familiares vitimados pelo rompimento da barragem.

De acordo com o Corpo de Bombeiros, mais de 360 militares atuam na área com apoio de 15 aeronaves e 21 cães farejadores. Há ainda 66 voluntários, que atuam entre área seca e a inundada. Esses voluntários são pessoas com qualificação técnica.
